About Ombra & Luce
Nice to meet you — I’m Claudia, founder of Ombra&Luce.
I grew up in Liguria, Italy, surrounded by the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea, the colours of the Cinque Terre, and the silvery green of olive trees. Beauty and aesthetics were not something special — they were simply part of everyday life.
Over time, my love for colour grew into something deeper. In fabrics, I found endless possibilities — the freedom to explore combinations I had always imagined. When I created my first lampshade, I realised that what truly excited me was the dialogue between fabric and base — finding the right, and sometimes unexpected, pairing that makes a piece come alive.
I have always dreamed of creating beautiful objects. Choosing to work with lamps felt natural to me, because light has the power to transform a space — to shift its mood, soften it, and make it feel warmer and deeply personal.
